When Jesus was teaching in the Jewish temple, the leaders asked Him, ‘By what authority doest thou these things? And who gave thee this authority?’ (Matthew 21:23). These are very good questions to ask about all religious matters. Will you ask yourself by what authority you do everything you teach and practice in religion? Will you also ask who gave you this authority?”
